Art Therapy Supervision

Supervision sessions are available for individuals working toward credentials as an art therapist and for those requiring supervision to gain expertise in child, adult, family, or group art therapy, particularly in the areas of trauma and posttraumatic stress, mood disorders, medical issues, arts in healthcare, neurodegenerative disorders, and research. Group supervision is also available in the form of day-long intensives and, if criteria are met, may be used for continuing education credits [CECs].

For practitioners who are not able to obtain supervision in their geographic region, distance supervision can be arranged. Internet access with Skype, video chat on gmail.com, or similar webcam capabilities is all that is needed.

Coming soon! Cathy Malchiodi is currently working with the National Institute for Trauma and Loss in Children to set up supervision for those requiring supervision in their work as trauma specialists, consultants, and supervisors.
